anglophile

i‘ve always been anglophile,
next lifetime i‘ll move to dorset,
walk a thousand miles between
the sea and sky blue sky

wear your love like heaven,
the title of my fave donovan
album, like mark hollis said,
„it‘s the album, not the song“.

my most beloved crime novel
these days set in oxford, like
patti smith i have a knack
for very british crime tv series,

„george gently“, for example.
and, listening to „the colour of
spring“, there‘s a van morrison
„common one“ moment, lol.

so, this poem full of praise
has no thrill, no stunning
second, it‘s bla bla simple,
but its lines may show you

the way to wonderful vinyl
from talk talk, old donovan,
old van, the man, and, not
