I had my good times with Thomas Pynchon. But with all due respect, I failed to fall for his most famous novels. The two ones I loved most, and the only ones i read from start to end, were „Vineland“ and „Die Versteigerung von No. 49“. Traveling back to 1932, the years of prohibition, i’m curious about the „soundtrack“ of „Schattennummer“. (m.e.)
